Eloise Kane, age 75, of Danbury died Tuesday, May 25, 1993, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services were held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Danbury with Rev. James Tigges officiating. Burial was in the Danbury Catholic Cemetery in Danbury. A rosary was held at 3:30 p.m. by St. Mary's Rosary Society and a vigil wake service was held at 7:30 p.m. at the Walter-Armstrong Funeral Home in Mapleton on Wednesday evening.

Miss Kane was born June 12, 1917 to John and Eloise (Harrigan) Kane at Danbury. She taught school in the Washington D.C. area and retired in 1989.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Danbury and the Rosary Society.

Survivors include two brothers, Joseph of Danbury and Thomas of Los Angeles, California.

Eloise was preceded in death by her parents: a brother, John; and four sisters, Mary, Anna, Alice and Margaret.

Pallbearers were Terry Sohm, Doug Moser, Dwight Moser, Jim Pierick, Jim Sokolowski and Tony Wenger.

Arrangements were made under the direction of the Walter-Armstrong Funeral Home of Danbury.
