Mrs. John J. Kane, 80, a lifelong resident of the Danbury community, died Monday at a hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Kane was born March 2, 1873. She married February 5, 1902, at Danbury.

She was a member of St Mary's Catholic church.

Funeral services will be at 9 a. m. Wednesday at St Mary's church. Rev. Richard V. Sweeney will officiate. Burial will be in(direction) rection of the Fitzpatrick funeral home. The rosary will be said at the church cemetery under di-8 o'clock tonight at the farm home.

Survivors are the widower; four daughters, Miss Margaret of Waterloo, Miss Alice of Portland, Ore., Miss Eloise of Washington, D. C., and Miss Mary at home; three sons, Thomas of Lynwood, Cal., and John and Joseph, both of Danbury; three brothers, J. A. Harrigan of Danbury, Paul of Ida Grove, la., and Clarence of Belmond, la, and a granddaughter.
