John James Kane, 93, Danbury, died Saturday at a Battle Creek, Ia., hospital.

Mr. Kane was born June 15, 1869, at Sheffield, Ill. He went to Danbury in 1882. He married Eloise Harrigan February 5, 1902, at Danbury. She died in 1955.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church of Danbury. Knights of Columbus and Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors include three sons, John and Joseph, both of Danbury and Thomas of Whittier, Calif., four daughters, Mary of Danbury, Alice of Portland, Ore., Margaret of Waterloo, Ia., and Eloise of Washington, D. C., a sister, Mrs. Lenora Rosten of Fargo, N. D., and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a. m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic church. Rev. Richard V. Sweeney, Rev. A. M. Conlon of Anthon and Rev. Thomas Miller will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at the Fitzpatrick funeral home at Danbury.
