Laura Jeanne Gotto was born April 6, 1971, and passed away April 8, 1971, at the Burgess Hospital in Onawa, Iowa. Graveside services were held Friday, April 9, 1971, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Anthon, with Father Thomas Munn officiating.

Survivors include the parents, a brother William, maternal grandfather, Soren Hansen of Anthon; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gotto of Oto, great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Soren Hansen of Sioux City, Mrs. Nick Gotto Sr. of Oto, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gapen of Springfield, Oregon.
