Henry Adam Gotto, 58, Anthon, died Friday at a Sioux: City hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Gotto was born April 28, 1914, at Danbury, Iowa. He farmed in Oto and Anthon communities. He married Joyce Gapen Nov. 27, 1929, at Oto.

He was a member of St, Joseph's Catholic Church at Anthon.

Survivors include the widow, a daughter Mrs. Emmett (Helen) Book of Anthon, three sons Robert of Correctionville, Iowa, Bill of Kingsley, Iowa, and Nick, in the U.S. Navy stationed at Baldwin, Fla., 11 Grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Nick (Anna) Gotto of Oto; three brothers, Leo of Mapleton, Nick of Oto and Joe of Pierson Iowa; five sisters; Mrs. Eugene (Katheryn) Lewis and Mrs. Trace (Anna) Handke of Oto. Mrs. Herald (Mae) Handke and Mrs. Joe (Margaret) Ronfeldt of Bronson and Mrs. Joe, (Doris) O'Connell of Smithland.

Funeral services will be at 11:45 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Anthon. The Revs. J. G. Skahill and Thomas Munn will officiate. Burial will be St. Joseph's Cemetery at Anthon under direction of the Walter Funeral Home.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral members of the parish.
