ANTHON, Iowa -- Frank A. Galvin, 90, of Anthon, died Friday in a Sioux City hospital of long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Anthon. The Rev. J. G. Skahill will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the Walter Funeral Home.

Mr. Galvin was born Oct. 25, 1890 in Danbury. He lived in the Danbury and Anthon area his entire life.

He farmed several years and owned and operated the Anthon Amusement Parlor 17 years. He also worked in the Anthon Post Office. He married Nellie Jerman in 1911. She preceded him in death.

He married Hazel Haley May 19, 1927 in Anthon.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a past member of the Knights of Columbus.
