ANTHON, Iowa -- Hazel Galvin, 93, of Anthon died Thursday in a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon with the Rev. Gerald Zensen officiating. Burial will be in Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday with a rosary service at 7 p.m. in Walter Funeral Home in Anthon.

Mrs. Galvin, the former Hazel Haley, was born Oct. 1, 1894, near Anthon. She attended rural school until the eighth grade. She married Frank Galvin May 19, 1927, in Anthon. The couple farmed in the Anthon area. He died May 8, 1981, and she moved to Colonial Manor at Correctionville in 1983.

Mrs. Galvin was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon.

Survivors include a nephew, Larry Huffman of Seattle, Wash.
