Funeral services for John Flynn, who passed away September 23, 1977, at San Beneto, Texas, were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anthon on September 28, 1977, at 10 a.m. with Father J.G. Skahill officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Anthon, under direction of Walter Funeral Home.

The son of John and Mary Louisa Farmer Flynn was born March 3, 1905 and spent his entire lifetime in Anthon. Since 1950 he has spent his winters in the south.

He was preceded by his parents and a brother.

He is survived by cousins.
