Funeral services for Edwin T. Flynn, 58, who died unexpectedly at his home in Anthon Saturday following a brief illness, were held Tuesday morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anthon with Rev. A.M. Conlon officiating. Burial was in Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery, Anthon, under direction of Walter Funeral Home.

Mr. Flynn was born July 22, 1909, near Mapleton. He married Marguerite Fitzpatrick May 11, 1931, at Oto. They moved to Anthon in 1933 and lived there until 1959 when they moved to Los Angeles, California. They returned to Anthon in 1965.

Mr. Flynn was a heavy equipment operator and worked for Woodbury County for nineteen years.

Survivors include the widow, two sons, Donald of Madrid and Kenneth of Los Angeles, California, his mother, Mrs. Sophia Flynn of Mapleton, two sisters, Mrs. Cyril Walling of Correctionville and Mrs. Carl Schwab of Dunlap and seven grandchildren.
