Mrs. Gerald Flemming, 69, of Correctionville died Tuesday, November 25, 1986, in a Sioux City hospital after an illness of several months.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon with Rev. Gerald Skahill officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Anthon.

The former Mary Margaret Jones was born August 24, 1917, near Pierson. She graduated from Pierson High School in 1934 and attended beauty school in Sioux City. She married Gerald Flemming August 10, 1942, in South Sioux City. She lived in Jerome, Arizona, while Mr. Flemming was in the service and returned to Correctionville in 1945. She owned and operated a beauty shop in Correctionville until retiring in 1982.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a life member of the Chamber of Commerce of Correctionville.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Terry of Morgan Hill, California, and David of LaGrange Park, Illinois, a daughter, Mrs. James (Mary) Gipe of Omaha, her mother, Mrs. Mamie Jones of Correctionville, a sister, Mrs. Henry (Catherine) Kuhlken of Pioneer, California, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded by her father and a sister.
