Funeral services for Daniel Fitzpatrick, 61, of Moville were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 3, from the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Anthon with Rev. M. Merx officiating. Burial was made in Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery at Anthon under direction of Larkin Funeral Home of Sioux City.

Mr. Fitzpatrick was born at Tipton, Iowa, on April 6, 1878. He had lived in Moville the last twenty-eight years, where he served as postmaster for ten years. Since that time he had been engaged in the real estate business and as a druggist.

He passed away in a Sioux City hospital June 30, 1939, after being a patient there for a week. His wife, the former Miss Frances Allvin, is a sister of William Allvin of this place and of the late Mrs. Dan Clark.
