Mrs. Maurice S. Coyne, 64, 2904 Isabella St., was dead on arrival Monday at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital after being stricken suddenly at her summer home on Lake Okoboji.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Boniface Catholic Church. The Rev. Jim Keefner, OFM, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Anthon, Iowa. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Coyne, the former Rita R. Carr, was born March 18, 1918, at Anthon, Iowa. She graduated from Anthon High School and came to Sioux City in 1939. She married Maurice Coyne June 17, 1946, at Anthon. She had worked for 32 years for Northwestern Bell, retiring in 1976.

Mrs. Coyne was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Pioneer's Club.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Vern (Bev) Reves of Perry, Iowa and Mrs. Jeff (Jan) Burke of Sioux City; two brothers, Cyril of Sioux City and Leonard of Pompano Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Howard (Cleo) Hana of Sioux City, Mrs. Karl (Vera) Hoppe of Correctionville, Iowa and Mrs. Gordon (Corrine) Johnston of Storm Lake, Iowa and four grandchildren.
