OTO, Iowa -- Hugh M. Coyne, 77, Oto, died Thursday in a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Anthon. The Rev. J.G. Skahill will officiate Burial will be in Mount St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Walter Funeral Home at Anthon.

Mr. Coyne was born Oct. 31, 1902, on a farm five and one-half miles northwest of Oto. He lived his entire life there.

He married Anna Blossom Lancaster Oct. 19, 1944, at Anthon. She died May 23, 1978.

Mr. Coyne was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Anthon.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lynn (Marie) King of Correctionville; a son, Mark of Moville; two brothers, Tom of Manson and Maurice of Sioux City, and three grandchildren.
