Mrs. Edward E. (Marie Evelyn) Barrett died early June 8, 1976, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marvin Wycoff in Moville following an illness of about one year.

Services will be Friday morning, June 11, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Moville at 10 a.m. with Rev. Father Henry V. Weimer officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Anthon under direction of McCulloch Funeral Home of Moville.

Mrs. Barrett was born May 13, 1899. She had been married to Orval E. Yockey and he preceded her in death. She later married Edward E. Barrett.

Survivors include her son, Phillip Yockey of Anthon, and a stepson, Eugene L. Barrett of Sioux City; four daughters, Mrs. C.M. (Calista) Dunnington of Pierson; Mrs. Marvin (Mildred) Wycoff of Moville; Mrs. Jerry (JoAnn) Blessing of Greeley, Colorado; Mrs. Wayne (Joyce) Karlsrud of Lakeville, Minnesota; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Beverly Hanson and Mrs. Betty Kellogg, both of Sioux City; a sister, Sister Mary Callista of Omaha, Nebraska; 10 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren.

She was preceded by both husbands, a brother, Leo J. McNamara, and her parents, Joseph and Lena McNamara of Anthon.
