2 November 1943Mrs. Marie Amireault died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. John Mitchell, 1619 Isabella Street, after a two-year illness. She was born in Montreal, Canada, December 21, 1871, and came to the United States 35 years ago. She had been living in Sioux City only a few months.
Mrs. Amireault is survived by the widower, Omer; two sons, Charles of Sioux City and Robert of Minneapolis: five daughters, Mrs. Morris Ross of Minneapolis, Mrs. Art Lewis of Minneapolis, Mrs. Jack Hassett of Monterey, Calf., Mrs. Joe Gwiandon of Richmond, Cal., and Mrs. Mitchell; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Amireault was a member of the Lady of the Lake Catholic church, Catholic Daughters of the Foresters and the American Legion auxiliary, all of Mound, Minn.
The body will be sent to Minneapolis for services and burial. It was taken to Perasso Bros. funeral home.
