19 May 1970Ernest J. Witcombe, 76, died at 5:45 a.m. Monday after a brief illness.
He made his home at 208 W. Elm St. Born May 12, 1894, in Compton, Dundon, England, he came to the United States in 1908 and farmed with his parents in the Washta and Quimby areas for many years.
He is survived by several cousins.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Boothby Funeral Home. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery in Correctionville.
