Fred August Todd, 76, of Correctionville, died Friday, January 18, 1991, at a Sioux City hospital. Services were held Monday, January 21, at Grace United Methodist Church in Correctionville with Pastor DeeAnn Klapp officiating. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery, rural Correctionville.

Pallbearers were Allen Todd, Dennis Evans, Kevin Todd, Les Todd, Lynn King, and Jeff Todd.

Mr. Todd was born August 15, 1914, north of Correctionville, the son of Henry and Cassie (Adamson) Todd. He married Lucille Adamson March 8, 1939, at Sioux City. They farmed in the Correctionville area and moved into town in 1976.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, director of Coop, Inc., a Union Township trustee, a charter member of the Woodbury County Pork Producers and a member of the Poland China Association.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Lee (Colleen) Goodwin, a son, Richard, six brothers, Lloyd and Loren both of Cushing, John of Quimby, Henry of Waterbury, Nebraska, Leonard of Correctionville, and Wilbur of Anthon, four sisters, Mrs. Hannah Sands of Washta, Mrs. Everett (Ruby) King and Mrs. Earl (Florence) Evans both of Correctionville, and Mrs. Bruce (Pearl) Riordan of Des Moines, and four grandchildren.
