Jerold Scott DuBois, 44, of Santa Rosa passed away Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, at 1:38 p.m. after a long two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Jerold or "Jerwee" as we called him, was born in Sioux City on July 1, 1978. He served as a Marine after graduating from East High School in 1997. He also owned the first Crossfit Gym in Sioux City. Ask anyone who their favorite trainer was, and it is guaranteed to be him.

Jerry was inspirational in all he did, between being a Marine, being a father, being a trainer, and being cancer fighter. His journey can be seen on Tik Tok @jerry_teddy where it shows just how amazing he fought. He truly is an amazing man who we will miss so dearly.

Jerry is survived by his wife Gwen DuBois; stepchildren Samantha Kane, and Amber and Keith Carranza; parents William DuBois and Theressa DuBois; brothers Andy and Eddy DuBois; children Isaiah and Keean DuBois; and nieces Jasmine and Kiara DuBois, all of whom he loved so much.

Gone is the Body and Spirit but the Memories and Love Shall Remain.
