Anthony Allen Bailey, 15, of Sioux City, IA passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 9, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 6pm at Sertoma Park, Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Anthony was born August 8, 2007, in Sioux City, Iowa to Timothy Bailey and Meranda Walsted. Anthony was always Momma's naughty baby since; he was her youngest son. Despite being the naughty baby, he was loving, sweet, funny, kind and the most respectful young man. Anthony's three older brothers who he called "his boys" would spoil him rotten. His two younger stepsisters and one stepbrother all quickly fell in love with each other. He loved to cuddle on the couch or lay in bed with mom. When his mom would be doing crafts, Anthony would reluctantly help her, but secretly he loved playing with all the glitter. They had a special mother/son bond. Anthony was never afraid to be himself. He loved everyone and made instant friends anywhere he went. He always said he hated lasagna, but his mom would cut it up and say it is ravioli, he would say "Oh yeah! I love ravioli!" and would devour it.

The skate park was always his happy place! His brothers, who are seven years older than him, love it too and when he was still a baby, they would pack Anthony into the stroller and take him with them. By the time Anthony was 3 years old, his brothers had taken the training wheels off of his bike and he was jumping ramps and doing tricks just like they were. He really liked to skateboard and was always happy to show you everything he could do on his board. He enjoyed listening to music extra loud, always had his skateboard with him, roses on almost everything he had, even his skateboard.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Meranda and her husband Alan; his father, Timothy, brothers; Job Bailey, D’Andre Bailey, Landon (Hanna) Bailey, stepbrother, Cohen Walsted, two stepsisters, Bridgette Walsted, Breanna Walsted, two uncles, Benjamin (Anna) Bailey, Stephan (Kelly) Bailey, aunt, Andrea (Brandon) Beuzekom, grandparents, Freida Lair, Lynda (Don) Adams, Margie and Larry Walsted, Russell and Susan Bailey, niece, Melody, many cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandfather, Bill Lair, great uncle Joel Lester, uncle, Jeff Lair.
