Harold Everett Robbins, 84, of Pierson died Saturday, January 25, 1986, in Good Samaritan Center in Holstein following a lengthy illness. He was residing at home until two days before his death.

Services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 28 in the Barker Funeral Home in Correctionville with Rev. Nova Wells of United Methodist Church in Pierson officiating. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery, rural Correctionville.

Mr. Robbins was born February 4, 1901, near Correctionville, the son of John Paul and Georgia Robbins, and attended rural schools. In 1922 he moved to Wyoming and entered the U.S. Army in 1942. After his discharge in 1943 he moved to Wisconsin. He married Luella Falk June 13, 1944, at Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. They lived in Wisconsin, Missouri and Nebraska before returning to Woodbury County in 1955. Harold and his wife had lived in Pierson since September 1964.

Survivors include his wife, a son Clyde Charles of Oto, a daughter, Rita Mae Robbins of Pierson, a sister, Hazel Shelton of Washington, Indiana, three brothers, Clarence of Zephyrhills, Florida, Lawrence of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Robert of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, six grandchildren, Jami, Lisa, Lynette, Desiree', Jarrod and Nathan, ten nephews and nine nieces.

His brother, Chester, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, preceded him in death.
