12 September 1912Dustin H. Robbins, a resident of this vicinity since 1866, died at his home four miles north of Correctionville Tuesday forenoon, September 10, 1912.
He was stricken with paralysis about 4:30 Monday morning and never regained consciousness. He was 78 years old.
His funeral today occurs on the 51st anniversary of his marriage to Martha Coe.
He is survived by his wife and eight children: William of Marshfield, Missouri, Albert of Kingsley, Frank of Minnesota, Mrs. Mabel Smithwick, Paul, Henry, Reuben and Clyde of Correctionville. All will be present at the funeral which takes place this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house and at 2:30 from Good Hope Church, which Mr. Robbins helped organize back in 1888.
