A. P. ROBBINS WAS BORN ON A
HOMESTEAD NEAR CORRECTIONVILLE

Last rites were held Friday afternoon for Albert Perry Robbins, 61 years old, well known Plymouth County, Iowa, farmer, who died Wednesday after an illness of six years at his farm home four miles east of Hinton.

Service was conducted at 1 o'clock in the home with Rev L. J. Shroyer, pastor of the Hinton Methodist church, and Rev. L. Wood, pastor of the Stanton Evangelical church, officiating. Burial was made in the Good Hope cemetery near Correctionville.

Mr. Robbins was born June 27, 1867, on a farm near Correctionville that his father, Henry Robbins, had homesteaded the year before. In 1890 Mr. Robbins was married to Laura B. Haggin and they moved to near Hinton to take up farming. Mr. Robbins had resided in the vicinity of Hinton since then. He was a member of the United Brethren church at Kingsley.

Surviving are his widow; three sons, Wright and Albert, of Hinton, and Reuben, of Sioux City, four daughters, Mrs. Evalene Comeau, of South Sioux City, Neb., Mrs. Bessie Schultz of Stanton, Mrs. Leone Shippey of Sioux City and Mrs. Florence Hartman, of Merrill six brothers William, of Marshfield, Mo.; Frank, of Clarissa, Minn.; Clyde, of Murdo, Wyo.; and Paul, Reuben and Henry, of Correctionville; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Smithwick, of Correctionville, and sixteen grandchildren.
