ANTHON, Iowa - Angie B. Risher, 90, of Anthon died Wednesday, June 27, 1990, in the nursing home at Correctionville.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Walter Funeral Home in Anthon with burial in Good Hope Cemetery, near Correctionville. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today with a service conducted by McNiff Unit 389, American Legion Auxiliary at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Mrs. Risher, the former Angie Dicks, was born Jan. 19, 1900, at Correctionville, the daughter of James and Hannah (Guthridge) Dicks. She married Waldo Risher in February 1929 at Pierson. The couple lived in the Correctionville and Anthon area. She worked at Mike's Market and Garrison and Foley's Market in Anthon. He died in 1962.

Mrs. Risher was a member of the Church of Christ in Anthon, 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a sister, Gladys Hunter of Fresno, Calif.

She was preceded in death by three infant sons, three brothers and three sisters. Lillian Herrmann, 88, Adrian, Minn., and formerly of Luverne, Minn., died Monday; services 10:30 a.m. Friday, United Methodist Church, Luverne; Holm Funeral Home, Luverne.
