LAWTON, Iowa - Services for Steven Kent Glover, 21, rural Lawton, have been set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lawton Community Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Glover was dead on arrival Saturday evening at a Sioux City hospital. He had been jailed early Saturday and guards found him lying apparently dead in his cell at the Woodbury County jail about 7:30 p.m.

The Rev. Robert Peters will officiate at the funeral. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery under direction of the McCulloch Funeral Home.

Mr. Glover was born Jan. 4, 1953 in Sioux City. He lived in Sioux City for several years before the family moved to a farm two and a half miles southeast of Lawton. He attended Sioux City and Lawton schools.

He had been employed by the North American Manufacturing Co. the Lakin Ranch and by K & B Construction Co. for work on Western Iowa Telephone Co. During the latter part of 1973 he worked on construction in Arkansas, returning to his Lawton home during the holidays.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellwyn R. "Dick" Glover of rural Lawton; a brother, David Ray, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Darrell (Anita) Carpenter of Moville, and Mrs. Richard (Debra) Edwards of Correctionville, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Ray Glover of Sioux City.
