Justin D. "Bud" Doran, 61, 2701 Second St., driver for Marx Truck Line, died Tuesday at his home after a six-month illness of cancer.

Services will be at noon Saturday in the Christy Morningside Funeral Home. The Rev. Merle LeBahn, Bethel Lutheran Church, Lawton, Iowa, will officiate. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery, Lawton. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Mr. Doran was born Feb. 15, 1925, in Avon, S.D. He moved to Yankton, S.D., at an early age and graduated from Yankton High School in 1943. He married Florence L. Broders March 22, 1946, in Yankton. They made their home in Yankton until 1967 when they moved to Sioux City. He had been a truck driver for 40 years, working with Marx Truck Lines in Sioux City.

Mr. Doran was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church at Lawton. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Duane and Scott, both of Sioux City, Douglas of South Sioux City, and Jay of Ellsworth Air Force Base, Rapid City, S.D.; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Donna) Lang of Silverton, Ore., Mrs. LeRoy (JoAnne) Jones of Sioux City, and Mrs. Larry (Carla) Ehlers of Lawton; four brothers, Darrel of Cincinnati, Ohio, Gary of Camp Verde, Ariz., Gordon "Jim" of Sioux City, and Gerald of Lombard, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Stanley (Gail) Welsh of Yankton, Mrs. Jake (Dorothy) Sluke of Taipei, Taiwan ROC, Mrs. Marlin (Mary Ellen) Jones of Loomis, Calif., and Mrs. Randall (Betty) Leavitt of Las Vegas, Nev., and 12 grandchildren.
