LAWTON, Iowa -- Jennie Dyer, 68, rural Lawton, died Sunday at her home after a long illness.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Banner Township Cemetery, Lawton. The Rev. Lynn Bruch of Immaculate Conception Church will officiate. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today with a rosary service at 7 p.m. in Christy Morningside Funeral Home in Sioux City.

Mrs. Dyer, the former Jennie Petekavich, was born June 15, 1919, in Sioux City and was a lifelong area resident. She was in the restaurant lounge business in Sioux City for many years and most recently worked in the housekeeping department at the former St. Vincent's Hospital, retiring in 1980 because of poor health.

Mrs. Dyer was a Catholic.

Survivors include a brother, Tony Petekavich of Sioux City and two sisters, Helen Nichols of San Diego, Calif., and Annie Corey of Los Angeles.
