PIERSON, Iowa - Ina Amanda Weinreich, 98, of Pierson died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Kingsley Nursing and Rehab Center in Kingsley, Iowa.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Pierson United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bill Cotton officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with the family present 5 to 7 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Rohde-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley.

Ina was born March 15, 1906, on a farm near Pierson, the daughter of Henry and August (Wieck) Harm. She grew up in the Pierson area.

On Feb. 19, 1927, she married Jack Albert Weinreich in Dakota City. To this union Bryce Arnold, Beryl Dean and Carol Jean were born. They lived and farmed southwest of Pierson until they moved into town in 1968.

She was a member of Pierson United Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge, Pierson American Legion Auxiliary, the Birthday Club and Pokena Club. She enjoyed fancy work, quilting, baking, canning, gardening and spending time with family and friends. The family will always cherish the holidays and family gatherings and will miss her cooking and baking.

She is survived by two sons and their wives, Bryce and Mary Weinreich of Kingsley, and Beryl and Duana Weinreich of Billings, Mont.; a son-in-law, Darrell Linton of Pierson; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Harm of Pierson, and Charlotte Mergan of Whittemore, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; two sisters and their husbands, Deana and Fred Nielson and Ell and Ed Herbold; two brothers and their wives, John and Minnie Harm and Julies and Daisy Harm; two brothers, Henry Harm and Fritz Harm; a sister, Frieda King; and a daughter, Carol Linton
