PIERSON, Iowa - Jack Weinreich, 82, of Pierson, died Thursday at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the United Methodist Church, Pierson, with the Rev. Philip W. Cline officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under direction of the Dickison-Michael Funeral Home, Kingsley.

Mr. Weinreich was born May 10, 1896, at Shakopee, Minn. He married Ina Harm Feb. 19, 1923 at Dakota City. He had lived in the Pierson farm community most of his life. He was a cattle buyer at the Sioux City Stockyards for many years. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Harrison F. Pederson Post 291, American Legion of Pierson.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Bryce of Kingsley, and Beryl of Billings, Mont.; a daughter Mrs. Darrell (Carol) Linton of Pierson; 16 grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence of Kingsley, and Vernon of Correctionville.
