Patrick John Keegan, 59, of Sioux City died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, in Sioux City following a brief illness.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bruce Lawler officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Christy-Smith Berkemier Chapel.

Mr. Keegan was born Jan. 14, 1941, in Sioux City, the son of Joseph Patrick and Anna Vivian (Hashmore) Keegan. He attended Sacred Heart Grade School and Heelan High School.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Friendship Club. He enjoyed square dancing.

Survivors include four sisters, Judy Faux of Kokomo, Ind., Kathleen Britton of Fredrick, Wis., Colleen and her husband, James Kvidera of Sioux City, and Ann McNamara of North Sioux City; a brother, Tim of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
