Marion N. Jenkins, 100, of Storm Lake, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at a Storm Lake nursing home.

Memorial services will be at a later date. Burial will be at a later date in Logan Park Cemetery. Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jenkins was born May 10, 1900, in Liberty, Neb., the daughter of Kurtz and Lulu (Plasters) Stoner. She attended school in Beatrice and graduated in 1919. She attended college at Nebraska Wesleyan in Lincoln, Neb. She taught school for three years. She married George I. Jenkins on Dec. 13, 1924. He died Dec. 13, 1981.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, P.E.O. Chapter MK, charter member of Sioux Delphians, and Emerson Club. She was a former member of the Boat Club, now Dakota Dunes Country Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Morrow of Alta, Iowa, and Barbara Gach of Belvedere, Calif.; a son, George M. Jenkins of Moreno Valley, Calif.; two grandchildren, Marlene Morrow and Terrance MacFarlene; and two great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son-in-law, George Morrow.
