Aaron Virgil Gray, 16, of Hartford, S.D., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at his residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at St John's Lutheran Church in rural Akron, Iowa. Burial will be in St John's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m., at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home in Sioux Falls.

Aaron was born Aug. 13, 1984, in Sioux City. He was a sophomore at West Central High School in Hartford.

He was a member of St John's Lutheran Church and enjoyed music and computers.

Survivors include his father, Terry Gray of Kansas City, Kan.; his mother, Candace Gray of Hartford; two brothers, Winston and Derek Gray of Hartford; a sister, Melissa Gray of Hartford and grandparents, Mervin and JoAnn McQuillen of Sioux City.
