Rites for Mrs. Wahl to Be This Afternoon at Pierson Church

Mrs. Jennie Strohm Wahl, 69, died Saturday at her home at Pierson. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel S. Strohm, early Pierson residents.

Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. today at the Christian church in Pierson. Rev. Homer E. Watkins, of the First Christian church, Sioux City, will officiate. Burial will be in the Pierson cemetery under direction of the Osborn funeral home.

Mrs. Wahl was born October 24, 1876, on a homestead near Pierson. She was married to C. O. Wahl January 30, 1901.

Surviving are the widower; two sons, Dorris of Sioux City and Charles, jr., of Pierson; two daughters, Miss Dorothy Wahl of Pierson and Mrs. Ellsworth Woods of Clarinda, la.; a brother, John Strohm of Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Clifford Snyder of Minneapolis, Minn., and eight grand children.
