Mrs. Evert W. Todd, 78, of Pierson, Iowa, died Monday in a Sioux City hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Christian Church of Pierson. The Rev. Michael Dixon will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Todd, the former Bertha F. Leonard, was born June 16, 1895, at Lawton. She was married Feb. 18, 1921, at Pierson. She lived her entire married life in the Pierson community.

She was a member of the Pierson Christian Church.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Ruby) Syverson of University City, Mo.; two sons, Lawrence of Pierson and Raymond of Kingsley; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Sister Mary Paula of Dubuque, Mrs. Emma Pelton of Seattle; Mrs. Harriet Brune and Mrs. Ralph (Pansy) Spaulding, both of Pierson
