Funeral Rites to Be Thursday

ESTHERVILLE, Iowa - Special: Funeral services will be Thursday for Mrs. Jeanne Thompson, 38, whose body was found in the garage at her home here Monday morning.

Her husband, Lester, has been charged with murder.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dickison- Michaelson Funeral Home at Kingsley, Iowa. Dr. Victor V. Schuldt, pastor of St. Paul Methodist Church at Cherokee, Iowa, will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Pierson.

Mrs. Thompson was born Nov. 26, 1927, at Pierson and was graduated from high school at Kingsley. The Thompsons moved to Estherville three months ago from Cherokee. Mrs. Thompson was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church at Cherokee.

Survivors include five children, Steven, Lowell, Barbara, Helen and Leslie, all of the home, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William McCanney of Kingsley, and a sister, Mrs. Elvin Cacek of Elk Point
