MRS. MAE SHANK

Funeral services for Mrs. Mae Shank, 53, a lifelong resident of the Pierson community who died Wednesday at a Sioux City hospital, will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Methodist church in Pierson cemetery under direction of the Dickinson funeral home of Kingsley.

Mrs. Shank was born April 29, 1901, in Pierson. She was graduated in 1919 from Pierson high school. In 1929 she was married to Luther Shank. They resided on a farm near there until 1947 when they retired and moved to Pierson.

Survivors in addition to the widower are a sister, Mrs. Fred Purchase of Pierson and three brothers, Fred Elliott of Sioux Falls, Percy Elliott of Pierson, and Harry Elliott of Quimby, Ia.
