PIERSON, la. Special: Funeral services for Edward Ruch, 90, longtime resident of this community who died Sunday at an Avoca, la nursing home, will be at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday at the Christian church here. He had been ill four months.

Rev. Philip Kinton, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery with the Dickison funeral home in charge.

Mr. Ruch was born February 18, 1872 at Naperville, Ill. He moved at the age of 4 with his parents to a farm located one and a half miles east of Pierson.

He married Elizabeth Ellis February 22. 1893 at Pierson. She died in 1951.

Survivors include a son, Rex of Denison, la.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Another son, Robert of Moville, died in 1961.
