PIERSON, la. Special: Funeral services for William W. Rowse, 86, who died Thursday at a Cherokee, la., hospital, will be at 1:30 p. m. Saturday at the Pierson Christian church with Rev. Phillip Kinton officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery, Pierson, under the direction of the Dickison - Michaelson funeral home.

Mr. Rowse was born June 30, 1877, at Correctionville, la. He married Lulu Hester at Correctionville February 1909.

He farmed most of his life in the Pierson and Correctionville areas.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Rev. W. Leonard of Gowrie, la., and Charles Lee of Sioux City; one daughter, Mrs. Harley Crooks of Lake Park, la.; nine grandchildren; one brother, Clarence of Sioux City; one sister, Mrs. John Morgan of Correctionville.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a half-brother.
