Funeral services for Mrs. William Rowse, 79, longtime resident of Pierson, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Christian Church in Pierson. The Rev. Philip Kinton will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen (Greenwood Cemetery)Cemetery there, under the direction of the Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home of Kingsley, Iowa.

Mrs. Rowse died Thursday at a Kingsley nursing home.

She was born July 3, 1885, in Kansas City, Mo. She was married to William Rowse in February of 1909 at Correctionville. She was a member of the Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lee Rowse of Sioux City, and the Rev. Leonard Rowse of Mapleton, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Harley Crooks of Lake Park, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
