31 March 1921Wm. Rock, a well known Pierson resident, died suddenly Monday noon at the home of his brother, Chris Rock. He was stricken at the dinner table and in about thirty minutes had passed away. The funeral was held in the Evangelical church, the sermon preached by Rev. Karsten. Burial in the Pierson cemetery.
