MARCUS, Iowa - Arnold Fey, 70, of Marcus, died Friday at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars following long illness.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Rock Branch Cemetery in rural Correctionville. The Rev. John Oren will officiate. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. today at the Nelson-Earnest Funeral Home in Marcus.

Arnold Frank Fey was born May 8, 1915, in Anthon. He grew up and attended schools in the Anthon area. He worked in the California shipyards during the war years, returning to Sioux City where he worked for many years with Pioneer Iron Works. Mr. Fey had been a Marcus resident for more than 20 years where he worked as a welder and blacksmith before retiring in 1977.

Mr. Fey married Margaret Mengelsen on March 7, 1952 in Spencer. He was a Methodist.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rick of Palmer, and Rocky of Le Mars; two brothers, Paul of Guthrie, Okla., and Frank of Correctionville; two sisters, Mrs. George (Mae Maurine) Sergent of Anthon, and Mrs. Margurite Kobs of Jefferson, S.D.; and four grandchildren.
