Thomas Duncanson, son of William and Mary Duncanson, was born at Onslow, Iowa, in Jones County, Sept 29, 1880. He came to Pierson, Iowa, with his parents in 1885 and resided on a farm until 1917, when he moved to Lewistown, Mont., where he lived until his death, Mar. 15, 1944.

He was married Jan. 1, 1929 to Della Mae Davis. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Della Mae, of Lewiston, Mont., his mother, Mary Duncanson, and four sisters, Mrs. Josie Hathaway, Marion Ulmer, and Anna, of Pierson, and Mrs. Jeanette Diller of Springfield, Mo.: two brothers, David of Wagner, So. Dak. and McKinley of Pierson; and three stepchildren, Cpl. Robert T. Davis Jr. of Truex Field, Madison Wis.; Mrs. Clarence Ditty and Mrs. James Allen of Missoula, Mont., besides other relatives and friends.

Although Mr. Duncanson has passed on, the memory of him lives on in the hearts of those that knew him, as a devoted son, a beloved husband, a kind father, a cherished brother and a helpful friend and neighbor.

Funeral services were held in the home of his mother, Mrs. Mary Duncanson, Monday afternoon. Rev. Geo. J. Potter of the Church of Christ officiating. Mrs. Ray Faulkender accompanied the quartet composed of Mesdames C. F. DeLambert, Oden Bradshaw, Ray Faulkender and Ralph Walker.

Pallbearers were Wilbur, Russell and Raymond Duncanson, Howard Hathaway, Carl Nafe and Will Bohle. Burial was at Rock Branch cemetery under direction of the Osborn Funeral Home.
