FARMER, 33, DIES WORKING IN FIELD

Wilbur Duncanson, 33, a farmer two miles west and three miles south of Pierson, died Friday of a heart attack and then fell under a tractor which ran over him.

Dr. Thomas L. Coriden, Woodbury County coroner said that death, however, was caused by the heart attack.

Authorities said Mr. Duncanson and his father, McKinley Duncanson, had been plowing a field. The father left for a time and when he returned, he missed his son. The elder Duncanson began a search and found his son in the field.

Mr. Duncanson was born January 28, 1922, in Rutland township, Woodbury County.

Surviving are the widow Frances, the parents and five children, Russell, Rita, Thomas, Margie and Daryl.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p. m, Monday at Pierson Church of Christ. Rev. C Z. Pence will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Branch cemetery under direction of the Dickison funeral home of Kingsley, la.
