PIERSON, Iowa - Mrs. McKinley Duncanson, 74, of Pierson, died Aug. 5 at a hospital in Sioux City of brief illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 8 in the Christian Church at Pierson. The Rev. Forest M. Lay will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Branch Cemetery near Correctionville, with the Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home of Kingsley in charge.

Mrs. Duncanson, the former Pearl DeWitt, was born June 25, 1900 in Woodbury County near Pierson. She was married March 16, 1921, at Willow Lake, S D. The couple lived in Pierson. Mr. Duncanson died 10 years ago.

She was a member of the Christian Church, and of the American Legion Auxiliary at Pierson.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Wilma) Todd of Pierson and three sisters, Mrs. Albert Logan of Clark, S.D., Mrs. Betty Kirtland of Salem, Ore., and Mrs. Robert Stewart of Rock Rapids; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
