Funeral services for McKinley Duncanson, 70, Pierson, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian Church in Pierson. The Rev, Phillip Kinton will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Branch Cemetery under direction of the Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home of Kingsley.

Mr. Duncanson, a lifetime resident of the Pierson vicinity, died unexpectedly Saturday.

He was born Sept. 29, 1896, in Woodbury County near Pierson. He farmed for 30 years before retiring and moving to Pierson. He married Pearl DeWitt March 16, 1921, at Watertown, S.D. He was a member of the Christian Church of Pierson and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Laurence (Wilma) Todd of Pierson; two sisters. Mrs. Alice Diller and Mrs. Marian Ulmer, both of Pierson; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
