Mrs. Daniel Cooper, 86, who resided with her daughter, Mrs. Ray Winneke, 1705 S. Patterson St., died Saturday at a Sioux City hospital following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Cooper, the former Mary Sadler, was born on Oct. 9, 1888 at Rock Branch, Iowa. She attended Woodbury County schools. She was married on Jan. 6, 1915 at Rock Branch. The couple farmed in the Kingsley and Moville, Iowa areas before moving to Sioux City in September 1970 to be near their daughter. Mr. Cooper died on March 6, 1971.

Survivors include a daughter, Sioux City; three sons, Vernon of Quimby, Iowa, Carroll of Moville and Marvin of La Mirada, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Rock Branch United Methodist Church, rural Correctionville, Iowa, with the Rev. Forrest Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery at Rock Branch. The McCuIloch Funeral Home in Moville is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Dale, Daniel, David and Dennis Cooper, Clair Jaacks and Gregory Winneke.
