CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa -- Mrs. Armour Cooper,78, of Correctionville, died Friday in a Cherokee hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rock Branch United Methodist Church near Correctionville. The Rev. Edward A. Schaller will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery in Rock Branch under direction of the Walter Funeral Home of Anthon.

Mrs. Cooper, the former Maxine E. Rarck, was born June 28, 1903 in Sioux City. The family moved to near Rock Branch.

She was married Aug. 4, 1920 in Dakota City, Neb. The couple lived southeast of Moville and in 1936 they moved to Rock Branch where they owned and operated a filling station. They moved to Ben, Ore., later returning to Rock Branch and in 1946 moved to Correctionville.

Survivors include the widower; three daughters, Mrs. Clair (Virginia) Beeghley of Joliet, Mont., Mrs. Betty Hanson of Correctionville and Mrs. Rev. Dean (Charlene) Bottjen of Norfolk Neb.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
