Mrs. Wayne Cooper, 58, Anthon, died suddenly Tuesday, December 5, at her home.

Services were at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec 7, in the Rock Branch United Methodist Church. Rev. Edward Schaller and Rev. Eugene Linn of the Kingsley Bible Church officiated. Burial was in the Fairfield Cemetery at Rock Branch under the direction of Walter Funeral Home at Anthon.

Pallbearers were Julius Jepsen, Allen Todd, Russell Todd, Gary Bruce, David Adams and Clair Jaacks.

Services were held Wednesday at 7:30 p. m. by the Valley Rebekah Lodge #338 of Anthon.

Dr. and Mrs. Robert Kerns and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Turner had care of the flowers.

Mrs. Cooper, the former Letha Mae Adams, the daughter of James Adams and Mona Waldo Adams, was born Aug 17,1920 at George. Her parental family moved to Stanton, Neb. and then to Anthon in 1935.

She was married Dec 26, 1951, at Dakota City, Neb. The couple lived in Sioux City five years and then moved to Anthon. She worked as a bookkeeper for Trecker Auto Co. in Anthon several years and also for Beiwer John Deere Implement Co. She worked as a secretary for Station KTRI in Sioux City. She was a member of the Kingsley Bible Church and Rebekah Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary, both at Anthon.

Survivors include the widower; one sister, Mrs. Carol Mona Cooper of Moville, three brothers, Arthur of Stanton, Carl of Seattle, Wash. and Frank of Santa Monica, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
