MOVILLE, Iowa -- Mrs. Jess Cooper, 88, rural Moville, died Sunday at her residence.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley. The Rev. H. Wallace Kinzler will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Branch Cemetery, rural Correctionville.

Mrs. Cooper, the former Vina Norma Hannah, was born June 28, 1896, in Arlington Township, Woodbury County. She married Jess Cooper Oct. 1, 1921, in Dakota City.

She taught rural school in Woodbury and Plymouth Counties for a number of years. Since 1934 she had lived on the same farm in Woodbury County. Mr. Cooper died in 1970.

Survivors include three sons, Wayne of Anthon and Warren and Willard, both of Moville; a daughter, Mrs. Loren (Wilma G.) Todd, of Cushing; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Bruce of Moville; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
