Mrs. Pauline Carrington

CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa - Mrs. Pauline Carrington, 80, Arvado, Colo., a former Correctionville resident died Tuesday at an Arvado nursing home after brief illness.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fairfield Cemetery at Rock Branch under the direction of the Barker Funeral Home of Correctionville.

Mrs. Carrington, the former Pauline Longerbeam, was born in 1903. She was married Dec. 24, 1924, to Fred Carrington.

She taught elementary school in Correctionville before her marriage. She was a bookkeeper for her husband's garage business in Correctionville. She was also bookkeeper for the family's John Deere implement business in Pierson then Akron, Iowa.

Her husband died in 1967, she moved to Colorado.

She was a member of the P.E.O.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
