LONG RESIDENT OF COUNTY DIES

Mrs. Frank Carrington Expires Following Heart Attack

Mrs. Frank Carrington, 66, a resident of Correctionville and Rock Branch all her life, died Friday morning at the Carrington farm home near Rock Branch. Death was caused by a heart attack which Mrs. Carrington suffered during the night. Mr. Carrington is a former Woodbury County supervisor.

Mrs. Carrington was born on a farm near Correctionville and attended the Correctionville schools. She had resided in Woodbury County all her life. She was a member of the Methodist church and the Eastern Star.

Surviving Mrs. Carrington in addition to her widower are two sons, Raymond and Lyle of Rock Branch, a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Hobbs of Ames, three sisters, Mrs. Pauswauk of Norfolk, Mrs. V. Bruce of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Walter Thornley of Moville, and four brothers, John, David, Will and Omar Weaver, all of Moville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Carrington farm home near Rock Branch, and at 2:30 p. m. in the Rock Branch Community church. Rev. W. L. Sunderlin of Sibley will officiate and interment will be in Rock Branch cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Hull funeral home of Correctionville.
